I made this poetry art frame about two years ago. I wanted to frame it as a reminder to myself.
At the time, I was constantly looking for an answer - why did that happen? How? Where did it go wrong? What’s missing in this?
When things have come to an end, all kinds of reasons have brought you to the end point. Whatever happened doesn’t matter much anymore. All you can do is move on and keep living your life.
As simplicity breathes life into this piece, it holds an abundance of struggles, contradictories, growth, and relief.
On the cusp of the new year, let’s leave what’s meant for this year in 2023, and move on to a new chapter.
With this piece, it embarks a new journey of mine and welcome 2024, the anticipation brims within me as I prepare to finally unveil this piece as my inaugural art creation release.
Two years after,
I’ve always wanted to do this.
